Stanly County Inmate Visitation

Remote online visitation has a non-refundable cost, but the specific rate was not published on the Stanly page. Inmates are allowed unlimited online visits if time slots are available, though visitation is a privilege that can be denied for discipline, administrative limits, or safety and security concerns.

Mail and Phone Contact

Inmates in general population cell blocks have telephone access each day. Calls are outgoing collect and debit only through NCIC Inmate Communications. The receiving party must create an account for collect calls, and inmates may transfer commissary money to buy phone time. After initial booking, each inmate gets an opportunity to make a free call. Inmates cannot receive phone calls, calls are limited to 15 minutes, and three-way calling is prohibited.

Commissary and Inmate Funds

Stanly County provides necessary meals and hygiene items at no cost, while commissary items are additional. The kiosk is located in the magistrate's office lobby and is available 24 hours a day. For records not visible online, request the record from the custodian. Booking and jail records not shown on the public roster should be directed to the Stanly County Sheriff's Office. State prison, probation, or parole records should be directed to NCDAC public records. Court-certified charge, disposition, and sentence records should be handled through the Stanly Clerk of Superior Court.
